- I am working on a novel about three families that touches on the themes of what really constitutes a family, adoption, foster care, gay adoption and moral fundamentalism set in Florida.

- I've lived in Florida almost my entire life and have loved to write for about as long. Unfortunately I'm a procrastinator and can think of a million excuses to keep myself from actually sitting down and writing. I work as an editor in a local company's publications department where I write features, email newsletters, online newsletters, PR and advertising. But my real loves are fiction and memoir. I'm joining this group to meet others who share a passion for writing (and reading), possibly get some feedback on my work and to be motivated and inspired to keep writing.
