What a surprise it was this morning to see the headline above on my Sentinel Letter to the Editor.

The December 2008 issue of FREELANCE WRITER'S REPORT (WWW.WRITERS-EDITORS.COM) reports that the lawsuit the Authors Guild andt the American Assoication of Publishers against Google's Library search program has a favorable outcome for authors. In the settlement Google will make payments totalling $125 million to establish teh Books Rights Registry, a new licensing system to resolve existing claims by authros and publishers and to cover legal fees.

Yesterday the Orlando Sentinel published my letter to the editor. My words are dramatic but I pray they do not become a reality for me or any other person.
